These Monte Cristo Sliders combine sweet Hawaiian rolls with savory meats and cheeses, finished with powdered sugar and jam for an irresistible twist on a classic favorite.

- 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 8 oz thinly sliced ham
- 8 oz thinly sliced turkey breast
- 8 oz Swiss cheese slices
- 8 oz Gruyère cheese (or more Swiss)
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup mayo
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Raspberry jam for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
- Mix Dijon mustard and mayo, spread over bottom rolls.
- Layer ham, turkey, Swiss, and Gruyère cheese over the rolls.
- Place top half of rolls over the fillings. Mix melted butter, honey, garlic powder, and poppy seeds, then brush over the tops.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5-10 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam.
Notes
Avoid overstuffing and let sliders rest after baking for easier cutting and cleaner presentation.
